Co-founded by Rainer Becker and Arjun Waney in 2002, ZUMA has 11 venues globally and three pop-up locations. The restaurants feature modern Japanese cuisine that is authentic but not traditional. The menu showcases a variety of dishes from its three kitchens: the main kitchen, the sushi counter and the robata grill.

London (Mayfair / Charlotte Street / Carnaby Street / Aldywch)

ROKA is a meeting place where food and drink are shared with friends (‘ro’) and heat, warmth and an all-embracing energy sound (‘ka’). The principle cuisine is from the robata grill, which originates from the fishermen of the northern coastal waters off Japan who would cook the fish on their boats with different types of charcoal and share the bounty with one another using their oars.
